China appreciates Mongolia’s reiteration of firm adherence to the one-China principle and opposition to interference in China’s internal affairs on issues related to Taiwan, Tibet, Xinjiang and Hong Kong. China supports Mongolia in upholding stability, focusing on development and exploring a development path suited to its national reality. Both sides reiterated respect for each other’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and that they will continue to firmly support each other on issues concerning each other’s core interests. Both sides expressed readiness to seek greater synergy between the Belt and Road Initiative and Mongolia’s Steppe Road Program, between the Global Development Initiative and Mongolia’s New Revival Policy, between China’s “two-stage” development strategy and Mongolia’s long-term development vision, so as to foster three engines driving the development of bilateral relations.
